Terms of service
Last updated: August 2, 2026
MBTI mail is provided by 一六人股份有限公司 (Taiwan Unified Business Number 62152403).
By registering, purchasing a plan, or using the service, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
1. The service
MBTI mail provides MBTI mailboxes, incoming forwarding, and limited manual sending. Messages sent to an MBTI mailbox are forwarded to the destination address you choose.
The service does not provide permanent mailbox storage, email backup, or archiving. Keep your own copies of messages you receive and send.
2. Account security
Provide accurate contact information and protect your account, password, and SMTP credentials. You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share them.
Notify us promptly if you discover unauthorized use. This responsibility does not apply where a security incident is attributable to us.
3. MBTI mailbox rights
An MBTI mailbox is a right to use an address while your subscription remains active. It does not give you ownership of a name, domain, or email address. Availability checks do not reserve a mailbox before creation is complete.
An MBTI mailbox may stop receiving and sending mail after cancellation, account deletion, or suspension. We do not promise to reserve an inactive mailbox permanently.
4. Charges and renewal
Prices, billing periods, taxes, and payment methods are shown at checkout. Recurring plans renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
We may limit or suspend service if payment fails or remains unpaid. Cancellations and refunds follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. It is the governing policy for daily sending limits, prohibited sending methods and content, bounces and complaints, enforcement, and appeals.
6. Your content
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and rights associated with content you send or provide. Using the service does not transfer ownership of that content to us.
We process information only as needed for delivery, support, security, and abuse investigations, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Changes and interruptions
We may adjust the service for maintenance, security, legal, technical, or operational reasons. We will give advance notice of material non-emergency changes through the website, account notices, or email.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, immediate delivery, or that a receiving system will accept or avoid classifying a message as spam.
8. Restrictions and termination
We may limit sending, revoke SMTP credentials, suspend an MBTI mailbox or account, or terminate service when:
- You violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Charges are overdue or the account may be compromised.
- Use creates abuse, complaints, or security risks described in the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Action is needed to comply with law or address an urgent risk.
9. Intellectual property
The website, software, interface, trademarks, graphics, and original materials belong to us or our licensors. Unless permitted by law or in writing, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, or resell them.
10. Service providers
We use service providers for identity, payments, email delivery, messaging, analytics, and infrastructure. Their services may be interrupted for maintenance, policy, or technical reasons; we will provide reasonable assistance where possible.
11. Responsibility
MBTI mail is not designed for emergency alerts, personal safety, financial confirmations, legal service, or other communications that cannot tolerate delay or loss.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss caused by receiving-system rejection, networks, third-party outages, user actions, or events beyond reasonable control. Any liability is limited to proven direct loss, except for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or liability that cannot legally be limited.
12. Updates, law, and disputes
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. We will notify you before material changes take effect. If you disagree, you may cancel before the effective date and stop using the service.
Taiwan law governs these Terms. The parties will first try to resolve disputes through discussion. If that fails, the Taipei District Court will be the court of first instance. Mandatory consumer and procedural rights that apply where you live remain unaffected.
